XR Trekking Canoe / Kayak Features & Innovations
The best-designed inflatable canoe on the market, built to look, feel, and function like a traditional canoe.

Stable as a Raft
The XR Trekking uses an overall flat design with a low center of gravity, making it one of the most capsize-resistant boats in the fleet. The oversized 11" side tubes provide massive buoyancy, allowing the boat to glide over waves rather than plowing through them.

Canoe or Kayak? Yes.
This boat is designed for ultimate propulsion flexibility. You can use a single-blade canoe paddle with a partner, or swap the seat boards for kayak seats and use a double-blade paddle for solo trekking.

Tested and Proven Agility
With a shorter 13' 1" length and slightly up-turned (rockered) bow and stern, the XR Trekking is incredibly easy to turn and maneuver. This makes it a favorite for navigating tight, winding rivers and technical whitewater sections.

Vulcanized for a Lifetime
Like every Grabner, the XR Trekking is hot-vulcanized, not glued. The seams are literally part of the rubber, ensuring the boat won't delaminate or dry out. It’s a sustainable, PVC-free boat handcrafted in Austria to last for decades.
